Bean Around the World – UBC Campus

We were faced with some tight timelines getting this Bean Around the World location up and running in time for the start of the 2010 Olympics. The planning only began late September of 2009 and with the hard work of the owners, contractors, suppliers, and trades we met the timeframe. The high vaulted ceilings, windows, and exposed “bones” of the space set the framework for the overall design. We worked very closely with the owners every step of the way specifying materials and finishes and creating functional space plans for the kitchen and service areas.
